I got this email from FCP today,

Dear Tina,It’s business as usual here at Full Contact Poker. Despite rumors of the impact of new US legislation on the online gaming world – FCP is happy to report that we are operating normally.
Regards,
Bianca
FCP Newsletter Editor

I thought we could add it to the list.

mischman, it's both. Of course it has Daniel Negreanu's blog on there and his forum but they launched FullContactPoker pokersite about a year ago I guess it was maybe a little less? It's a full pokersite. I can't remember what network they are on though. It can be downloaded or flashed(I think it's what they call it)

It's okay, I have only been on there a few times. I never did really play much on there though. I couldnt deposit on there. But if you could just use the flash version if you want to join and decide for yourself. Dang I can't remember what other network it's connected with. BTW he has a .NET version also.

"Despite rumors of the impact of new US legislation on the online gaming world"

Rumors? They are more than rumors! Their email doesn't answer anything, can you deposit, and more importantly, can you withdraw?

Rob, I guess the first part of the email states that "It's business as usual" which I guess means yes and yes.

edit:I guess I should have read farther down in the newsletter that I got the first part of this on.
Here is more on it:

New US Legislation: FCP wants to allay any fears over the recent legislation passed by the US Congress regarding the processing of online gaming transactions by US banks. These new laws in no way change the legality of individuals playing online games, such as poker. We want to assure you that all of our games are up and running as per the norm, your funds are safe and secure and we invite you to come and play with us as usual.

Update: FullContactPoker is trying to find a new home. I got the news in my email. I must have deleted it so I pulled this off the FCP forum about the pokersite.

October 13, 2006

The Ongame Network, owned by bwin, has announced that it will block service to players with U.S. addresses. Full Contact Poker, however, is committed to providing its poker services to all of its existing players and to any new customers in the U.S. or around the world.

As a result of Ongame’s announcement, Full Contact Poker is partnering with a new poker network provider that shares its desire of offering poker software to legally aged players in the U.S. In the unlikely event that your service is interrupted during this transition time, contact our 24/7 player support team. We promise to keep our players informed of any new developments and appreciate your continued support.
