I admit I'm on tilt right now, and I just kinda want to vent my frustration and anger. But at the same time I'm honestly starting to believe the full tilt software is rigged against players who have been on a winning streak.

I've been on a massive rush and made over $1500 in just a week playing $22 tournies, but yesterday and today I've lost about $600. I've had such ridiculous amazing bad luck, out of about 30 coinflips situations, I won two, I am not exadgerating. I also lost many times all in preflop with dominating hands, such as King king vs ace king, queen queen vs ace ten. During the bubble when blinds are very high, I get absolute garbage hand after garbage hand, I'll get 5 2, then 9 2, then 7 3, then 10 4, then 8 3. Then I'll finally get ace jack, go all in, and the small blind calls with queens.

Also, whenever I'm a slight underdog, such as push all in with short stack with king jack and get called by ace 8, I have been losing about 95% of the time, it's like I'm drawing completely dead preflop against his slighly superiour hand, even though he is only about a 58% favorite to win, I lose every single time. Whenever I call a shortstack's push when I have the slightly better hand, I only win what seems like 40-50% of the time.

I'm on such bad tilt right now, I'm afraid to make my normal moves with a shortstack, such as pushing on the button with ace 8 suited, because I know sure enough one of the blinds will have a superior ace or a high pair. I watch other shortstacks surviving and pulling up with steal after steal after steal, their all in bets not being called, meanwhile I wait for playable hands. Then one finally arrives, I push all in for my first shortstack move of the tourney, and the next player immedietly goes all in over the top and shows kings to knock me out.

Is this just unreal and crazy bad luck, or is full tilt rigged?

Id like to say its crazy bad luck, it will all turn around some time and if you play right you will win in the long run.
But I'm starting to wonder myself, especially on stars. Ive moved half my BR to fulltilt to see how i do there. lol

the software isnt rigged, there would be many cases aganst full tilt poker if it was...its like saying casino dealers are rigging the deck so you dont win too much money

there isnt a flaw in the software either, its just a part of the game and it happens to everybody...if you notice you are on tilt then just take a break, there is no reason to keep playing when you know you arent going be to playing your best game...
its like rolling up to the high stakes cash game on 4 hours of sleep, it just doesnt work

take a little hiatus...regroup, and eventually your power poker will turn into sme serious $$$$

In Soviet Russia, Fullt Tilt Poker rigs YOU!

(Tired old jokes aside)

Just stop playing for a while and come back when you really want to play. Plus, the wins you made previously were also maybe due to you running good and winning races. Look at your profit in the long run, especially in SNGs wich are high variance.

For those who have not already read this, there is some interesting info here on how to get cheated in a poker room (and how the room can be rigged):

they don;t care who wins; somebody has to win. And they get the rakes anyhow

But I also it sometimes. But if it were for real, I would have had the feeling less likely, because then you can;t blame a computer or software

re: full tilt is rigged

I know how you feel man i had the same sort of run. i feel like full tilt has it in for me. they cant make me get beat by giving me rubbish hands so they give me great hands but someone else seems to catch a better hand. the day after i made some money in a tourney i ran kings into aces like 3 times.

I'm about to destroy my laptop in frustration. Still running so bad it's ****ing bs. Short stack goes all in I call in the big blind with ace queen, he has ace 4, split pot. I'm short stack with M of 5 in the small blind with ace 9 suited. Push on the big blind all in and he calls with queens. Its ****ing ridiculous, how do these other players get high pairs so god damn often?!?!?

well in order to do the first thing, whether you realize it or not, you must have had ridiculous amazing good luck. not denying that you're a good player, but that would be well above the mean for even the greatest player in the world. luck in poker can come in so many different forms that sometimes it can be hard to tell. you'll have ridiculously good luck and sometimes ridiculously bad. recall bias tends to cause one to remember the bad luck more. in the really really really (practically infinite) long run it ought to even out. hang in there, don't tilt, things will turn around. but if you're tilting, the line between not playing your A game and getting unlucky can become blurred over time and you might want to take a break. gl

I had did an experiment on most poker sites I registered with. It started with FullTilt banning me for bad chatting. Ever since then I've got screw every single time. I thought what happens if I gt banned at other sites. Sure enough, even on sites that I always do good on, I haven't won anything. I've been trying for the last year and a half but nothing. I play at a couple now that I didn't try getting banned so I'm doing ok...most of the time breaking even.

I've even gotten my whole 15 dollars taken away from Bugsy's Club because I made 2 comments that someone didn't like. I ask why they just didn't ban my chat like what their policy states. They said the player who complained said he tilted all his chips becaused I slowed play him a couple of times. Bugsy support said this was bad and wanted me to call them so they could talk to me before they let me in. I told them don't bother and keep my 15 dollars to support their crooked private programmers.

I would say - NO ;-) you always get those bad beats. I just posted in another thread this:

"I used to play on PS in 0.50/1 limits, when i built up my BR. But got very very broke in one bad donk suckouts :) I can't forget that day ;-) lost like 2000$ br to practicaly ONE guy. In one hour he made me loose 8 full buy-ins. That was incredible run of cards. Hands was AA vs 89of, AA vs Q9s, AA vs Q8, QQ vs A2, KK vs KQs and so on. And interesting, that it was like preflop allins all the time, donk reraised me always when i raised. It was just rigged, guess how tilty I got then? ;-)"

So... i think you get this all the time. Even in real life i guess. I'm bad at dealing with bad beats and br management. But IF software is rigged, why you think they "choose you", coz you won 1500+? What can ppl think, when like Phil Ivey or other guy, suck on them with 80k$ pot? I think it's just GOODRUN-BADRUN situation ;-)

You guys gotta hear this story. Ok, first of all, today I've played about 6 tournies. That's about 300 hands. Of those hands, I had aces zero times, pocket kings maybe 2 or 3 times, and queens 1 time. Just now, was down to 1000 chips, blinds were 180/60. So my M was about 4, in the Red Zone. I was on button with ace 3 of diamonds. No question here, I make the standard all in push. Small blind has pocket kings, and big blind has pocket aces, I am not lying, this happened a few minutes ago. I'm so fu/cking pissed right now I feel like destroying something.

Rigged Full Tilt Poker? On a better note, 2 tournies ago I placed 2nd, I won my first race of the last 20 races, doubled up on the bubble with 44 against king queen.
