I have not won that tournament but I have watched it and yes it is worth buying. In his dvd Phil Gordon shares his secrets on topics such as pot odds, dominated hands, selective aggression, bluffing, tells and more. It is also very entertaining.

i would buy it if i were u its pretty good. the funny thing is about them tournament freerolls is there is 2700 people entering a torny to win a dvd on poker strategies. lmao!! do you really think u need advice once knocking out your 2699 opponents lmao!!

and it takes why to much time for just the 1st place gets something
should atleast give the final table the dvd for their effort
cause it can probaly take 2 hours before its over
and thats way to much for me for a dvd
but ime maby gonne watch it hope its as good as your guys say

I'm not sure if this is true or not but I heard that if you win that tournament they will send you 4700 ftp points instead. You can use those points to buy that dvd or other things from the store.

i have never won it... but i do not see the reasoning for sitting there for 3 hours to win a friggin DVD... i mean how much would it suck to sit there and finish in 2nd place lol... wat a waste of time it is.

I have tried placing in that freeroll, but it is a full blown donk fest. I'll probably download the dvd just to see how it is.

The freeroll only gives the DVD ???
None FTP points or something like that ??

I have already played started one freeroll that is giving the DVD as a wormup but left sitting out to play the other...
Usually you get something more tham just a DVD of almost advertising when win something..

The dvd freeroll is only a couple times a day as opposed to the $100 freeroll, i've heard its a pretty helpful movie though

I purchased the movie and yes it is worth looking at. It is great to get your poker knowledge from a few different perspectives and create your own strategy.

I still cant belive that some people this freeroll! This DVD is such a useless.

Like many have said... and I think my favorite was "donktoberfest", its full of a lot of folks who either don't know much about poker or just don't care (I suspect it is a bit of both).

I must say I understand the 'all in' business in the beginning, I mean SERIOUSLY, what kind of idiot wants to sit and play a 5 hour freeroll tourney that A. Has only a DVD as a prize and B. Has ONLY ONE WINNER!

At any rate... I too have the video and although I haven't watched it all, what I have seen is quite good and informative. I am not sure whether I, myself, would actually buy it or not... but certainly worth a watch!

The DVD is great, it's just not worth playing several hours for it. Like I said, download it. Definitely worth watching.

That game is a super DONKFEST. You know how i know...It was one of the first tourneys I've ever tried when I first started playing poker. I think I might have played a couple of hours worth of poker at that time and I made it to 14th place (In other words I was also in super donk phase). Now that I've been playing for almost a year, studied my ass off in books and played hours and hours, I barely can make it half way through. Either I get pissed at some fool going all in every hand or I get blasted by a total rag hand. I rarely play that anymore and figure I'll just buy the damn DVD.

I want to play it since my youth but without complete knowledge it was very difficult for me.But after watching your website I have a lot of knowledge about this game.The DVD is great and It was wonderful experience for me to watch it. Thank you again........!
