What happens in a Stud tournament with 8 people playing at each table if everyone wants to play the hand (8*7=56). Where do the extra four cards come from? Does Full Tilt just blow up???:confused::confused:

Must not have played many stud type games ... :D

7th street card is placed on the board as a 'community' card to apply to your hand, as well as all other players as in holdem.

It's rare, but it happens.

Do a search here and you should even find a screeny showing it.

Never knew that. Though I hardly ever play Stud.

But great question and great answer. Now I have to join a full stud player and convince everyone not to fold to see it play out live. I'm sure in the micro limits they'd be open for such an experiment.

I've been playing for years and didn't know that...Granted stud has never been my game of choice, but still good to know...Then again, how often does that happen in a real money game or tourney, probably almost never I would guess.

Yeah, not sure how you'd find it exactly, but there was a thread on it several months ago. Happened to me once & only once in a HORSE in razz. Apparently a lot of the other players had never seen it either. It was "wtf"s all around.

I've only played stud-type games a few times and that same question occurred to me. Glad I know the answer now, or I might have been really confused seeing it for the first time.

Interesting didnt know this either. What about this scenario. Sit n Go 9 players, what would happen if everyone goes all-in and there is one winner. How are 2nd and 3rd determined, or is it just 2nd and whats the payout? LOL.

Well, this is a totally different question, not remotely related to the thread. But I'd be real curious to know too. BTW, do you mean "or is it just 1st"? My guess would be the whole shebang goes to the hand winner. Could they really pay the 2nd & 3rd best hands? No idea, What if there would be a tie for 3rd place, ya know, same pair same kicker??

Just one of those weird hands where everybody had absolutely nothing worth a bet. Check the pot size after the community card - 23c - LOL. Every street was a check around.

Cool question, and REALLY cool answer!!! I can't wait to get into a horse game. I'm going to try and collude the whole table on stud and razz just so i can try and catch a couple screen shots!!! I wonder if i can get into trouble for collusion if i'm collusionizing the whole shootin match?!?
