Do you believe in the selfless, sincere friendship poker players? :)
There are very close friends of the time-tested, trouble, joy :)
But what is most valuable to man - attitude.
Everything in our world rests on the relationship.
And most important of them, relationships with family and friends!
After all, they can be different - robust and fragile, sincere and false, unselfish and beneficial?
They are hard to build and easy to destroy!
Do you believe that there are selfless and sincere relations between friends - players, regardless of social status, wealth, life principles? :)

If you start gambling with friends for anything besides friendly stakes you may win the game and their money and lose a friend.
In my opinion that is not a good outcome so it is best to keep it friendly.
Lots of money is easier to get than a good friend.

I absolutely adore my friends, love being with them, but make no mistake - my favorite thing is winning their money at the table. I have NEVER lost a friend when playing poker against them, or any other type of gambling game, because they are true friends and true friends do not let this type of stuff get between them - they know what they are doing when they sit down at table

Is this what the op was asking? im not sure

I play most of the time in home games in the neighborhood. I usually carpool with good friends that I am playing against. I may not push them as hard as I do others but they know if they push and I have the nuts I will call even if it ends their game. WE ARE ALL OUT TO WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have only played against online friends not in real life so much because my real-life friends don't even play poker LOL. Some people like to win at any cost. Kind of like a Donald Trump LOL and you wouldn't want to play against them and have a nice friendly game at your house or something. But I know playing online even playing against people I know a long time we all try to play our best and try to win and mostly get along all the time LOL unless someone takes a really bad week and then they are only mad for a couple minutes . after game is over it's all good again:):)

I honestly always respect a friend in the game of Poker, but also will not is folding a good cards because I'm facing a friend, but also will not get heavy betting, but game and play if I open a strong raise he has respect and I also the same.

I'm friendly/familiar with local regs, but I don't have any actual friends who play poker. (I think that's a good thing, personally.)

I would never softplay a friend, or any of the regs I'm friendly with. We're all there for the same reason (I hope) - and that's to take each other's money. ;)

I don't have many poker friends, but the few I have, when we are playing, it's more fun and I try more to beat then more than anyone else, and they do the same with me, I think (and that's how it works with me and my friends) that if you are really good friends, winning or losing is not that big of a deal, if that money doesn't lock after words, the respectful thing to do is play your best and try to win ..
Now, the big thing for me is, you got be respectful when you win and when you lose, and when you are the one that won, than you got be the more respectful possible .

really I do not think so , always comes into play some interest.

now have to see if the interest benefits both, if in agreement,
in this world will always have interests

if you're successful you'll be surrounded by " Friends "

Of course, I met already a lot of good friends trough the poker game so it's possible. It depends of you and the other person.

hmmmm, very interesting question, some difficult for me to be objective, because in real life i have no friends who so love poker game as I am! Sometimes we are going with friends to play poker, but only for fun-it's not so interesting for me because friends playing without any share of the seriousness-allin with nothing))) but I think that it's not true to playing with your friends on money. When there are financial relationships with friends friendship ends there, the harsh truth of life. This applies not only to Poker. Also if you became a boss of your friend on the job or when you give to your friend a large sum of money in debt((((

Of course there is a friendship in poker. There are many examples where friends have to fight. In boxing, football and so on. Just some people are able to separate work and personal relationships. When it comes to money friendship is subjected to strong test. I lost a lot of friends with whom I had the cash ratio. Now I think that the main thing is a family. And everything else goes by the wayside. If you are unable to find a friend in poker that take care of the relationship with him. It will be one of the strongest friendships. Provided that you're bluffing against each other only at the poker table.

:) Good luck everyone :)
