Once you find it, use the Thread Tools to Subscribe to that post. When you go to your Control Panel, that post will show up as new when Dealio or another Admin updates the password.

Not that I am aware of. I have been in multiple forums using VBulletin or PHPBB for eons and know my way around very well.

That little nugget I just posted is something that I came up with on my own. I too was getting lost trying to find the PW area. Even had a bookmark, but couldn't find the bookmark one day (I have hundreds of them). Then it hit me when I was cleaning up my subscriptions one day -- why not just subscribe to the password thread!

I think this is what it should look like (my image might be a little different?) and you should be able to do this with any thread, without having to post a comment. I watch MANY this way.

I clicked on thread tools and had an option to "subscribe to this thread" which I pressed. I am now subscribed so hopefully I'll get notifications that there is a new post. Is that what you are saying? I think I successfully did it, although you are pointing to "unsubscribe...".

Yes, you are good to go. You can Subscribe/Unsubscribe from any thread with that menu. The image Shells showed you was from a thread that she has already subscribed to, thus it will say Unsubscribe. If you are not Subscribed, then it will say Subscribe. Toggle on, toggle off.

I like going to just my Control Panel to see new responses to threads that I have posted in just to keep up with the conversations. Like Shells, there are some threads I Subscribe to just to monitor and help out. This thread is one of my Subscriptions for helping out. When I grow tired of the thread, I can easily Unsubscribe from the Control Panel too.

when you say control panel, are you talking about the windows control panel or come control panel that is part of the CC site? I am not sure what that is.

I was looking around and clicked on private messages, which is where I found "user control panel". I bookmarked it, so will use that as my hub to navigate. Thanks again for your help

The User Control Panel. It is the first link in the light colored sub-menu at top of the page labeled User CP. If you click on the label (not the down arrow), it will take you to the Control Panel.

That is it! It is the only bookmark I have for CC. I start there and not the homepage.

Another link I use is in the sub-menu also, Quick Links > Unanswered Threads. I like to jump into fresh threads. I even have a custom Search for 5 posts or less.

There are a lot of other useful links in the Quick Links that come in handy all the time. Check 'em out.

Hello and welcome,, take a look around the forum and if you see a subject you like or would like more information about

hit enter on top left of page where it says POST
then just start typing your message . your thoughts




just make sure your post is about the subject and not just 1 or 2 words,
