Probably stating the obvious here, but if you haven't downloaded a number of different sites, it may be worth doing so. I'm currently playing from $20 free from party poker and £10 from CDpoker - i'd unistalled both from my computer (so you dont have to clog up space), but every now and then you get the odd little freebie.

I've had $20 free from partypoker a few times, so that seems to be fairly common. CDPoker haven't offered me any no-deposit money yet, but having not deposited they have offered some extra bonuses if I do make a first deposit ($80 extra bonus money and $15 instantly available bonus money on top of the 1st deposit bonus).
SportingOdds also gave me $10 free after I didn't deposit, so they may be worth a go, too.
I'd agree with Rob that if can be worth signing up to sites before you actually want to start playing on there, because you can get some free money or extra offers sometimes... if you're thinking of the 'build a bankroll from nothing' method where you start with something like freeroll winnings, then it's great - you try to get some money from a freeroll, and hopefully if you haven't done so after a couple of weeks you get given some free money... to date Party has seemed the most generous for this.

I wonder, does Party give you free $$ without a deposit? (I'm a cheapskate who doesn't want to deposit $50. ;))

SportingOdds gave me free money when I didn't deposit, so you might try them. I think Party are more inclined to entice former players back than to give free gifts to new sign-ups.

funny how this was asked.lol or stated....a while back (6-7 months) i deposited 50$ into partypoker, i played very little and eventually went broke on stars, so i decided to transfer my party bankroll into stars via neteller. Ever since then party gives me 20-30$ once a month, (cashout restriction only, 100 raked hands for every 10$ they give me) usually 200-300 raked hands before i can cash any of it out... i usually stars by playing 2 s&g's to raise my bankroll then i hit the cash tables to go for the raked hands....i usally complete the raked hand task within a week of about 2 hours of play per day.

If I'm correct then DreamPoker & Royalvegas cancelled their $10 offer but they may have restarted it again since then, I'm not too sure.

I think they still do but you have to give them your credit card number to get the free $10, Supposedly, doing this prevent scams or something. You don't get charged anything (so they say) they just need you credt card number for security purposes. It sounds like a scam waiting to happen so be careful.

visa will automatically decline payment to an online poker company.. . .I don't know how they can give you $10 when your credit card number will do absolutely nothing for them...except having a copy of the numbers so no one else can register with your credit card numbers...maybe it is logical.

...I'm sure they have a slight to major problem with people signing up multiple times...for the $

I know this is getting off topic...but has anyone ever cleared that bonus with a minimum deposit? Who can honestly deposit $25 and play .50/1 games and come out alive without getting extremely lucky . . and play in it long enough to accumulate FPPs 10 times equal to your deposit? Anyone? Doesnt seem possible unless you play a SnG or MTT and then play the rings after you place well.

Actually the reload bonus is 7X your deposit and if you multitable limit games, even .25/.50 then it doesn't take long.

Oh ok. . . I was looking at the first time deposit bonus. You still need some really good luck to play .25/50 rings with a $25 deposit and clear that bonus.

Never heard of it, but it's always difficult to withdraw free money. You have to pay a number of raked hands, but it is free money after all.

I've played through a 200 raked hands requirement with just $20 at $0.50/$1 on Party... so it's do-able, although this was at Omaha H/L, which tends to have smaller swings.
Of course, if they only give you free money when you've bust out, then you could take a higher risk approach, and play some Pot Limit or No Limit above your bankroll to either double or triple up quickly or bust on on the theory that they'll give you more if you bust out, and if you double or triple it then you're better bankrolled for playing their limit tables. They may then not give you anything when you do bust out, but everyone I've seen posting about freebies from Party seems to have been given 2-3 freebies at least (myself included).
