Free Money?

I’m watching this $14,000 Guarantee on FT # 108346762 and there are only 23 entrants with 54 payout positions. It starts in 40 minutes. The buy in is like 10% of this bankroll so I wont go in unless it almost free money. My question is have any of you ever fallen into this kind of free money?

You are probably being too optimistic. Most tournaments are near-empty 40 minutes out. It will likely fill up to the guarantee or somewhere close.

Edit: Just checked it out. The game has launched now but late reg is still going on. 560 registered. There may be an overlay by the time registration has finished, but it won`t be more then ten per cent, at most.

late registration ensures ft doesnt lose money, most of the time it stays open until the guarantee is covered... what you're hoping for never happens

There used to be many daily guarantees that never reached near the required buy in on bodog, but a few months they lowered the guarantee and upped the buy ins, so this opportunity is no more.
