Free $20 from Party Poker

Just got this e-mail from Party Poker:

You have been awarded a bonus amount of 20.00 dollars and the money has been added into your account. You can use this bonus amount to play at Party Poker. However, if you wish to cashout the 20.00 dollars, you will need to play 200 raked hands before 29-APR-2005 EST.

The history is that I deposited $50.00 about 2 months ago, lost it and haven't played on PP since.

Anyways, I'm happy to play with their money while it lasts.

I hope others can benefit.

Party will sometimes give people some free money in their account if they havn't used it for a while, shame I use mine all the time and have to earn the money I get ;]

MYA, I can happily report that I am up to $49.43 so far...my aim is to build the bankroll to at least $100.00 before losing it all!

I played for 1 hour at a $25 (Max) NL table and found the competition FAR looser than Ultimate Bet where I am used to playing - I wonder if this was a once only abberation, or if it is the norm.

The only other time I was at party poker, I got killed in Limit, a game that UB doesn't have much of - I should have known better than to play.

I also have one other obsevation. People say that Variety is the spice of life but I preper Paprika.

It's the norm, don't worry about that. Haha, PartyPoker is often called "The Aquarium" for obvious reasons. Keep playing it will be quite wild and even frustrating at times, but do not worry, as a good player you will demolish the other players over the long haul.

Party is looser than a bunch of essex girls on holiday in spain.

party poker is a joke...

i signed up at party poker about a year ago..they had a free 50 dollar offer.......
NEVER GOT IT!... i dont suggest partypoker to anyone...not with over 500 sites to choose from...

I'm with you on this one darkhorse. One of my friends said that Party Poker is a scam... I don't know if I would say that much, but I do know that a lot of people I know that play on there, don't end up doing very well. I find that I can actually --MAKE-- money playing at pokerstars. Someone called Party Poker the aquarium... haha.. maybe that is why my friend thinks its a scam, because you have fish taking your money and losing it back to Party Poker all the time. I'm sure there are people on Party Poker that make money, but truthfully I've never tried Party Poker with real money.

Sounds good, i have actually hear that pary is very bad though and that they don't offer freerolls mcuh and that the players are rubbish, i haven't really been there a lot though so cna simeone tell me what it is like?

True.. I have gotten a free 20 bucks two times.. I have made money off it both times just playing sit-and-go table tournaments. I have also received all my bonuses after meeting requirements. They took the 20 back after I wasn't playing any raked games but it was too late! I had already made money.. lol
Paradisepoker is nice too. My bro does very well there.

Max, they gave me the $ after not playing for a few months. I went to the site and the $ was in my account ready to sit down at a table.

I had previously deposited $50.00 real $ and lost it all....very quickly lol.

Anyway, it was a great deal for me at the time because I didn't have to do anything for it.

They've done the same for me a few times.

People who are saying how crappy it is and how you could never make money there because of all the fish, consider what you're saying! It's a gold mine out there! Sure, you'll get a few suckouts on you now and then, but you can make so much money by just playing well and not playing the garbage everyone else does! If your friend couldn't make money there, no offense to him or you, but he was playing exactly like them (or the popular play too high of stakes).

I play Empire which is part of Party, and it's just as great. The people are terrible. If you know what you're doing you can make a killing!
