Just recently Mohegan Sun Casino finally opened up Holdem tables. For the past 4 years my hubby and I have been going to Foxwoods as it was the only big casino in CT with live poker tables. So now, we want to try out the Mohegan Sun and I was wondering if anyone has had any good/bad experience or comparison with Foxwoods poker room. I personally enjoy playing poker at Foxwoods very much, but Mohegan is a beautiful casino as well and we are planning a triip very soon.
So yes, if you can give me a quick review, that would be great. I noticed that Mohegan has a bit different games and limits. For example Foxwoods limit tables start at $2/4 vs. Mohegan's $3/6.

Just a heads up,all (95%) of the dealers are new so the games can be a bit slow at MS. Personally I like the way Mohegan's looks and they have better restaurants, but if you just want to play poker I'd say The Woods is your choice. they have twice as many tables (no wait) and more experienced dealers for now. As for the limits they have 2-4, 3-6, 4-8, 5-10 and up from there so you can find a game that suits you.

Good point, thanks! Dealers definately make a difference, especially when the "new ones" start flipping the cards over ... lol... but I do agree about the restaurants and entertainment, that's why I was so happy that the MH added poker as it's the only game I play...
Thanks for the heads up!

I moved from CT last year. What took the Mohegans so long to open a poker room? I use to drive past MS on the way to Foxwoods. They should have done this 7 years ago, or better yet, not closed their poker room in the first place.
