Yes I use it

the good points are, u will have less chance to mixture with diamond with hearts and clubs with spades... since they have the same color

also, it is easy for u to know u are making a flush draw.

bad thing....err, if play live.....horrible ....usually 4 color deck are simple, so....

Live it's not really much of a problem as you're playing one hand at a time. Online you can be playing anything up to 24 tables so it's important to be able to see at a glance what suits are on the board.

I might have to switch to using a 4 color deck, I tried it once and didn't like it, but maybe I just need to get used to it.

I've never seen it as an option live, but I don't have a lot of other live events to base my observation off of. I typically stick to my local poker hall and thats about it.

Anyone see a 4 color deck used live? Any opinion on it??

I used the 4-color decks whenever possible. I've never seen them live.

I've never come across any major casino that uses them, but most major playing card companies offer a four-colour option if you want them for your home game or whatever. Just search on Ebay.

I'm not really fussed either way - personally I still use two colour both online and live. Live because it's just what I'm given to work with, and online because it's what I'm forced to use live and I don't want to, say, get myself used to four colours online and then start miscalling hands live because there were no green or blue cards or anything. Plus I never play more than about six tables at a time online and I haven't had any problems to date distinguishing clubs from spades etc.

I am envious .

Since about a year now, I can have a "bad eye day" where I have to put my glasses on, cause I am like "is that a club or a spade?"

The problem is, I cant lean back with glasses on, but have to sit closer to the monitor. W/o glasses, I am ok most of the time, but the 4 colors does give me an option of leaning back.

Of course, I have no idea whats on my HUD then, so all I can say is.........................

OH GOD YES!

It's amazing how you can mistake a club for a spade when not paying close attention.

I prefer the standard deck. Just can't get used to the 4 color deck.

Yes, can not imagine playing 6+ tables without 4 colour deck. Especialy late in session (when tired) could turn nasty with 2 colour deck.

I don't have much good to say about them aesthetically but they make your game loads easier, so I use them anyway.
