Mods: Feel free to move this wherever this belongs. This site still confuses me at times. I'm slow.

Question for the poll:

You can flop the nuts with any two cards. True or False?

My answer is it depends, do you mean the nuts that can never be outdrawn? Then no, if you mean nuts 'so far' then yes. The only nuts that can not be outdrawn are str flushes where you hold the highest card or highest are on board and you have the rest. Meaning that if you hold unsuited and non straight cards, or a2,a3,a4,23,24 you will never get it

I don't want to ruin this, but just think quads.

That is technically true that with the best starting hand in poker.... the 27o you "flop the nuts" with 222, but are susceptible to ANY 33-AA overpairs hitting runner runner for better quads.

That wasn't the question, though, I didn't ask if ATC can flop the stone cold unbeatable nuts.

I think quads pretty much every preflop call. I'm a little surprised how often I flop them considering the odds against doing so. But then the real fun comes when they lose at showdown. :)

You probably don't flop them as often as you think and you lose with them even less.

I don't know how many times you've flopped quads, but your win rate this is guaranteed to be pretty dang high.

...while true, this should never, ever be a concern when you've flopped quads. Worrying about runner-runner is so far from my mind. I'm more worried about how I'm going get paid off for my hand. The only think I'm worried about is my opponent going to hit anything that I can paid off with.

I'm more worried of losing value with the hand than losing the hand itself.

Well, if it's only the nuts on the flop, then sure, ATC can flop the nuts.

ATC can flop quads, and quads are ALWAYS the nuts on the flop.

All flopped nuts can be outdrawn, though, unless you flop the high end of a straight flush.

For once, he didn't say anything derogatory. But if you quote something of that nature even once, yes, you two will have the pleasure of my block list.

Assuming he hasn't blocked me in the meantime, here you go.

You obviously don't understand how this whole blocking thing works. I can't see any of your posts, except when you get The Belgium to quote for you.

I don't take actions like this lightly. You were an ashole and regularly trolled my posts. I would assume you got some sort of amusement out of it. But that is over, as I no longer have to bother reading another thing you ever post.

Time to move on with your life, bro. Sorry that I was such a significant part of it considering I've been here less than a month.

I guess offering criticism/advice, while sometimes a bit blunt, and sometimes questioning your posts, is trolling.

At any given time you could have the nuts although, the turn csrd could quickly change this.
