My first royal flush ever!! In a live game to boot!

I've been playing holdem for a couple of years now and I just wanted to share my thrill in getting my first royal flush!!

I play a weekly game with a bunch of friends (a $20 rebuy...pot's usually $400 by the end of the night). I was dealt Qc 10c, called in mid position. Imagine my surprise when the flop comes Ac Kc Jc. I've never really had the shakes at a table before but boy oh boy!!

I ended up doubling up as well! (another guy flopped trips and i guess he wasn't paying attention to the suited flop, he overbets in late position and i reraise, he calls. Needless to say he isn't exactly the strongest at the table)

I just needed to get that off my chest! hehe

I have only ever hit two both in the same live game in the local pub, have never hit one before or since

My first royal was at a love game aswell. Rivered it. although I had the nut flush on the turn. It's always exciting flopping the nuts and seeing a big raise in front of you

For what is worth .... 2 Royal and 1 Strat flush ....

All at pokerstars .... 1st one about 4 years ago .. play chips
2 in the last 6 months or so, 1 in SNG
and 1 this weekend in ring ...(BTW royal)
currently 12 tableing which don't hurt the odds ...
