Did anyone watch the FullTilyPoker.net Wynn tournament yesterday on FSN?

The final table was broadcasted LIVE ( on a 5 minuted elay to edit expletives, etc. )

The tournament started with 23 or 24 players with a $20,000 buy-in at the Wynn in Las Vegas.

Final 5 got paid:

5th - Phil Gordon
4th - Daniel Negraneau
3rd - Clonie Gowen
2nd - Ted Forrest
1st - Christy Gazes

They showed EVERY hand that was played, so you could see how each player played each hand in different positions, etc.

Howard Lederer and this FSN guy were broadcasting with Annie Duke and Chris Feguson stopping by to help.

It was very interesting TV since the action was *almost taking place as you watched the hands.

I hope they broadcast more tournaments like this in the future.

I believe you are talking about the Turning Stone event in which Phil Ivevy beat John D'Agostino.

That wasn't live, it was taped. They just showed every hand heads-up and hands when there was action when the final table started.

This show was LIVE, it lasted for at least 2 hours (3 i think) and EVERY hand was shown in its entirity.

actually the Turning Stone event was live back when Fox Soccer Channel was Fox Sports World. I watched it as well and it had live in the corner. The play by play person proudly stated it was the first ever live tournament final on TV.

I watched it as well, it started at 8 in the morning and everyone was yawning, they only showed the final table, i wish they would have showed the whole thing, seemed like me that everyone was playing slower than you regularly see on tv, four hours for a final table of six players seemed to me real slow, but i watched the whole thing, got a few tips out of it and enjoyed it,every time i watch one on tv i learn something new, hope they have more of them.>>>>>>>>>>>> buckster436:alien:

I enjoyed it as well. Phil really burned everyone's butt. No wonder I find him intimidating.
