There are times when we start a tournament. we see that there is a player with too many chips but many and we wonder how does this player to get so many so fast?
My theory is that when you start a tournament always on a table there is a player who goes all in with any hand .. and if he wins that hand and then throws in with anything the software gives it to him .. that way get as many chips as possible ... to have a stack where you can play as you should ..
I do not say that this good or bad ... is the strategy of each one ... and I speak with knowledge of the cause, because I did it and it worked for me ... you who think?

There is for sure players who jam all in to either try and double up or bust out, mostly in freerolls ect, but if someone is doing this in a mtt they actually payed a buyin to play in is just plain -EV. They will sometimes get lucky and double up, but more often than not they will have only donated their money to the prize pool, which is fine by me.

If the shove monkey strategy worked for you, more power to you...I prefer to wait for the advantage and take the chips the monkeys have been collecting.

I think that this is not the best style of the game. :) More often you will lose.

If it is done right considering the odds then it's OK. but if you are deep stacked, it is just too risky.

ye they just go allin. They can double, triple etc their chips at the beggining but in later phase of tournament they lose their chips as fast as they earned it before. Typical mtt fishes.

Yep, those players usually don't get ITM anyway, they lose on pre-bubble time or somewhat, giving their entire stack to someone else. Sometimes they receive the final table though, but it's OK, it simply means they will play poker further and won't quit it after this luck-cathing time.

This happens when you play freerolls with a lot of players, because normally in high or medium betting tournaments the big stacks take time to arrive.
do not torment yourself too much with these freerolls because that will always happen

I use the Allins weapon mostly in ST freerolls. But in a normal tourneys it is mostly -EV and should be avoided though against shallow stack players it is a good strategy.
To get a huge stack it is all about picking the right spots at right time.

I think that the best strategy is the combination of patience and discipline.
