I’ve qualified for my first Iron Man Bronze this month and so I qualify for the 10k freeroll # 110384481 on the 14th. My question is about the Bronze game. To be honest I’m a bit intimidated. Anything you guys might share as to what it’s like to play a tournament filled completely with players with the little iron man metals in their IDs, would be appreciated.

congrats
- if you want to play supertight you can cash easy....they usually pay out 30% of the players ...you may even be able to cash folding every hand if you stall a bit ..
- the hardest part i find about these tournies is the dynamic of playing at tables when a lot of the players are sitting out...usually there is one bully at the table ..make sure you are there at the start maybe you'll get a table of sit outs..
- dont be too intimidated most of the players are cash game players...and the toughest players are in the gold or ironman freerolls
- you probably have already been playing against players who earned ironman chips...but choose not to show them

Congrats Cam....you will be surprised to find that in the first few levels, the level of play will not be as good as a Cards Chat Buy in game.
The later levels of course will be full of good players.
Play ABC Poker and good luck

Does anyone have any idea (roughly) on what percentage of players opt for the Ironman freeroll instead of the tokens?

Dude dont feel intimidated by your opponents, so what they have ironman badges, so do you right? And trust me, being an ironman doesnt make you a good player, some of there guys might just slave away at high stakes raking in the points while losing the majority of their roll, you can expect a decrease in the idiots in this tournament but they will still be floating around. Play your own smart game, dont feel intimidated. And TID LDO ;)
