When to defend against a raise and when to throw the hand away appears to be one of my greater weaknesses. For example, I have AQ suited in middle position, im first in the pot so I raise. The button re-raises, I call. Bet-call down to the river after hitting an Ace on the flop only to be looking up AK. But in reality, Im also worse than that. Late in tounraments, defending my blind usually costs me. I feel obligated to call a minimum raise, especially from the big blind, but obviously I need to find a range of what hands to call with and when to call with em in 3- bet and blind defending situations. Looking for suggestions....

You can pay for a raise, do SB, and BB, do a little more of a plan, strategy, do Sb, and BB only pay with X cards, (specific range) this is a smart way to be apply in game.

I raise and look at the situation on the table, but if there are no suitable cards for me on the table and the players raise the stakes and play aggressively then I drop the card so as not to lose a lot!
