I'm just wondering how different people play in the 1$ Fergusson on full tilt as opposed to the freeroll in the same game. I think I've pretty much figured out the freerolls and now i want to play in the fergusson (even though it starts really late considering im on easter time) but I want to know whether I should keep my game consistent or if it will be necessary to mix it up.

Nope. If you have had success in the freerolls, then you will most likely do just fine in the Ferguson. Most of the competition is the same there, but once you cash it will get a little tougher

The Ferguson was my training ground for MTT. I still play it by habit. The Razz and HORSE events are great as well. I used those to practice different ideas on my stud and Omaha game. Usually you get a different speed of player there. Tougher.
In the NLHE in the beginning it can be an all=in fest but there are some grinders as well. I have won it a couple of times and making the final table a bunch of times. When you get down to the last 27 there are some fine players that you can learn from. But the occasionally wild and loose players ae there as well and you can lose your stack against any A/rag or small pair from some guy that just has to call your all in with your KK.
The Ferguson in my belief teaches you to be aware of your opponents and how they play since it varies so much. A great tournament for so little.
It also started my BR build up.

If you are on the east coast then the ferguson starts at 1:30 am and usually lasts until 7 in the morning. So if you hope to play in it grab a few energy drinks =).

I completely agree with baby kahuna here. The ferguson is a great tournament to learn concepts and make runs at the final table with. But like blackjack mentioned, it starts at 1:30 Eastern time (12:30 for me :) ) so you better be ready for some sleepless nights if you get involved. I still love them though, 1000+ people for 300 something dollars for a $1? That deal is better than the value menu at McCdonalds
