FourDogs, that rings pretty true for me. There is no way I could get through an entire book all about the ins-and-outs of playing poker. The statistics, odds
, etc. would bore me to absolute tears...hell I might even end-up throwing myself off a cliff. I do enjoy watching on TV from time-to-time, however. But it is true that a man's brain is usually built for more analytical thinking, that's why you guys looooove all that odds crap and why they make a stat for everything
in sports (especially football it seems)! ("Who picks their nose more in a game?" "What's the percentage of using his left hand vs. his right hand while doing so, and how many times do they score after he has done so?") While women are more intuitive, because our brains are geared for multi-tasking and communication. But that doesn't mean one or the other is better: I'm w/ Dave on this one. I don't like to type-cast or generalize anyone.
