I used to play WSOP qualifications in free poker, I was lucky to reach the final table with a lot of advantage over other players, and then I gave away all my chips playing like a fool. I got scared of going, new impressions, playing with live people and not with avatars. I did the right thing ?

Yes.

Anxiety is no joke and you going to Las Vegas to play with thousands of people when you have this type of anxiety is bad.

How I know?

A few years ago I was in Las Vegas and got hit by an extreme anxiety attack. I locked myself in my hotel room and took a flight home as soon as I could. I had no control over the way I felt, but I knew I would not be able to be around people feeling the way I did.

On the other hand, maybe you didn't have a panic attack, but you were maybe having cold feet.

If that was the case, then no... you made a mistake.

I can't decide for you... only you can decide if it was the right thing to do.
