I remember watching the first season, and right there towards the end is was like nobody was really getting anything worth playing. Then this crazy hand comes along right at the end.

I would have the same feeling as Farha here when he said something like "Is this really the last hand?"

Im suprized that Greenstein didnt want to run it twice. I understand that running it twice is usually for he lesser hand to have a chance at coming back, but I bet Greenstein wishes he wouldve now.

Really?

When he's an 80%+ favourite to win, I don't see any reason why he'd want to give Farha a second chance to suck out on him. It's not like the total amount of money he could win goes up if he runs it twice or anything.

Personally, I'm surprised Farha even bothered asking. But you've gotta give it a crack, I guess :p

Running it twice has very little effect on the outcome of the hand. It just lowers the variance.

In the long run, yeah.

In the short run though it significantly increases Farha's chances of catching a king for half the pot.

Having watched alot of high stakes poker, I see that a lot of the players like running it twice. Adds to the gamble aspect. Greenstein isnt the kinda guy who likes gambling like Farha does.

The only reason I think he shouldve run it twice is because Farha wouldve had he been holding the Aces.

Just my opinion. I like a good gamble too.

What are the numbers, like a 16% chance the 3rd King comes? Thats worth a second run to me.

in that situation you see something that is typical for a worldclass player: Barry doesn´t kill himself after that horrible beat there against Sammy and i don´t understand why he should have run it twice? that´s silly

eh more like 8%, with a second run the % increase as their are less cards in the deck
