I'm playing it - think I got entry to half a dozen freerolls last year and won a cap (or the FPP equivalent thereof) last year.

GL to everyone who's giving it a bash.

How do you pick your players? Without an entry list you are hoping your picks actually play in these tourneys. A lot of players register but never play in some events. It's just a big crapshoot.

Yeah I was wondering about this too, as far as registered players go. If you're wondering how to pick your players on the Full Tilt game, you open the "cashier," and click "my promotions." Then click "fantasy poker"

I'm playing it also, i already made my picks for the first 5 events but i have absolutely no clue about how any of that stuff works or which players are best at the other types of games, so im just guessing and hoping to get lucky and win something:)

I know were to go to make your picks, but who do you pick? Most days there are two tourneys. In the less expensive of the two I pick lesser name players and random picks, In the other I pick top name players. I figure the top players will play the larger payout tourneys. How do you pick?

Im playing and Ive already got my team. Is there anyway to find out exactly whos in what events because that could give us a leg up on the competition so we know if someone needs to be switched out or not.

On a side note what day do they start airing the WSOP events and the main event?

No there won't be any indication whos in what event till it starts, as several players sign up just in time or late. I will adjust my team for different events, as there will be some of the lower buyin events that some of the top pros dont play.

There are still a few players missing that I thought would be on the list

Cracker, everybody... I posted an invite yesterday. And a bunch of links to help you get started. If there's still room, and I suspect there is, feel free to sign up....

https://www.cardschat.com/forum/poker-rooms-10/join-my-ft-fantasy-poker-league-152629/#post1193095

When you go to 'picks', there will be a dropdown menu, listing each event. Pick an event, hit 'go', and all the poker pros entered in that event will be in red. Just go to my post. It will explain the 'A B C' - that is a point system, where you are awarded points according to how much your picks earn. Just go!! :deal:

Edited to add: You need to be logged into FT software I think to get to the Fantasy Poker. I'm at my brother's for the weekend, and he might flip if he sees me downloading it on this POS dinosaur on its last leg. So can't get in to check or make picks til tomorrow.

No, you don't play anything. You just pick which pros you think will win the most money at which events (and there are many). Go to my link, and click on the last link there, it's the rules. At first, I thought the same thing, wondering how I was gonna fit in all those games.

^ this.

Most of the time players (especially the ones on the list for Fantasy Poker) don't register until just before the tournament starts, because they may run deep in another tournament that's going at the same time and don't want to waste the buy in.

Suffice it to say though there are some players that you know won't be bothering with some tournaments. If you've got Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius in all the $1500 NLHE donkaments, for example, you've probably wasted a few picks.

I just went back years past and picked people I saw in the events basically and threw I a few players I like and usually do well in tourneys.

On this if I am not mistaken just the full tilt pros are in red. The non red players might be in the event.
Everyone may know it, but I did see it posted by a couple ppl the players for the event are in red and I don't think that's the case,,,,,if it is let me know, lol
