I had a problem with a pokersite: I invited a real friend to join that pokersite to play together, not as team. He is a rock, so I know how he plays. When he raises, I know he has something really good, so I always fold. Then the pokersite sents to us a warning for play unfair. I mean, I bet my money against whatever I want. I dont need to play against him if I know how he plays. I don't want to lose my money versus him or anyone, so I need to decide when I bet, not the pokersite forcing me to bet. At the end, we don't play poker online together. What do you think about it?

P.S.: Sorry for my english.

That's the issue if every time that he raises you fold it will look like collusion, also will set alarms ringing with the software if you both often play on the same tables.

yes, it's unpleasant that you can not play with a friend at the same table, but on the other hand, I think you should be grateful to the poker site for what it controls so that players will honestly play against you !!!

I agree with you, a poker site that control this kind of things is great, at CC tournaments at first I thought that because some people know each other thay play against the "strangers" at the table, but then I realize it was not that way, the thing is, when you get to know a player it can be look like if they are confabulating each other and the site do not know that. I think the site did the right thing to do ;)

The Poker site was ABSOLUTELY Correct in Flagging you.

Whether or not you and your friend intended to collude(cheat) by playing as a team, it does not matter!
You cannot play together.

There are rules and if chose to ignore them, then the poker sites have the right to Barr you from ever playing on their sites.

This sounds like collusion (even if its not totally intentional), I am with the poker room on this one.

If you wouldnt play your mate heads up, dont play at the same table on 6 max.

They're doing their due diligence ensuring the integrity of the game. You should avoid playing together to avoid the appearance of impropriety even if there is none.

I believe that if they are cash game tables and, depending on the hand, you decide, you can characterize an unfair game. But in tournaments I do not see problems in two friends playing.

There are rules in the pokersites and you need to follow them... Like you and your friend caant play games of just 1 table, because is like you are helping each other... at least, that means that your pokersite is trustworthy :)

Play on same tournaments and you wont have problems. Try to avoid cash games.

If they allowed friends to play together many people would cheat. Its not the same as in person. Being on the phone with someone would help.

For me it's right that you are noted. Now I know that the poker site is watching that the same people do not play constantly together at the same tables. And then playing in the cache, I always expect that there are those who play friends at the same table.

I think this is normal for the site to question something that looks suspicious. For the mean time just stay off each others tables if possible. They should start to understand you are two different people and not working together.

I had this problem back during full tilt era. I invited my brother to play, transfered some money to him... and we would sometimes play together... after a couple of weeks playing they had a hold on his account... he called them and they ended up unlocking his account after he explained this to them. They are usually understanding, and if they are not understanding, then they probably aren't a reliable poker site.

hello my friend, I have to do your game regardless of your friend. Play as one who has to play, and fold as one who has to fold. So you can not fold your hands of values, because the site can interpret this badly and think that you are doing collusion!
