Just curious to see if there are any out there whom feel you play better poker when you are tired compared to when you are awake.

I find that especially with long sessions, my game is a lot better when I am tired compared to when I feel refreshed. Whilst being tired my decisions remain pretty much the same, and perhaps due to the lack of energy I tend to not be too adventurous making unnecessary plays.

Is it just me or can anyone relate?

I play best first thing in the morning...I find when I'm tired I'm not making the best decisions

Yes, I agree but that is exactly what I am getting at. You wake up all refreshed but then an hour or two into your session you just seem to lose focus, well in my case anyway. But if I start a session really exhausted, I maintain the same playing style for much longer.

Again, this may just be the case with me.

all up because if it is a long tournament should not be married. if cash tables, not so much. to me particularly when I'm tired I'm going with speculative hands and always get me the tournament. I prefer to be rested.
