Nice!!

I'm already a fan, but I really liked the interview. The wife enjoyed the comment about playing against women and that Finnish lady in particular. :)

Sweet as a nut, I get to ask Dan the man a question, and he only goes and answers it...........very nice.
Oddly enough I was going to ask Juicey what was going on with this interview as it had been a while, now I know.

:)

Very nice. Every time I see him at the tables or being interviewed he seems exactly the same. Nice guy, nice interview.

Great interview! Who's next?

BTW I think he only recommended Super System 2 because he wrote a chapter in it, on Triple Draw of all things if I remember correctly.

Very Very cool, great interview, great answers and above all a great poker player....

been watching the '06 wsop main event on TV the last few days and Daniel Negreanu is uncanny how good he is at reading people.

If I were on a table with him, you would need to get a court order for me to try and play him after the flop!

Top job there Nick - you didn't persuade him to pop by though lol :p

I was about to say he could have joined in a Friday night game - but remembered he would have to make 15 'quality' posts first lol :):D

Q. If you could suggest only one strategy book for a player to read and study, which would it be and why?
A. Supersystem 2, because it covers a wide array of games.

That wouldn't be because that book includes a section that he wrote, would it?

Nick, big thanks for that.
Prior to reading the interview, I was more inclined towards Gus Hansen, particularly after their infamous heads-up at high Stakes, re quad 6's against the full house, but now, reading this, Im thinking Daniel seems like a real nice guy, one of our own. And as for him talking a lot, I guess I can identify with that at the table.
Still like Gus the same amount, like his style, but now have new-found respect for Daniel.
Thanks again.
KD
(how did the interview come about? when were the questions asked for posted on here? any plans for other interviewees, question-submitting etc?)

Great Interview! We never asked if he'd dropped by CC and lurked at all.........
he also gave a great idea for Nick (already suggested by Rob) about having a Cardschat Poker Site.... if Full Contact Poker started out as a forum, then why not us?.........also does Full Contact support U.S. players? Maybe that's a site we could use?

Quite a coup - well done Nick! How about putting the name of the person who asked the question next to each question, would make it more personal to Cardschat. And kudos to Buck for asking the online poker ban question 6 months ago, got quite a response!

Still never said how this came about!
