Have to say I quite enjoy the live play myself, and in the past faired much better live than online, granted more downs than ups. But as mentioned in my hello post a few weeks back I am in the process of trying to reinvent myself with poker and play a more focused and patient game, taking a multi tabling sng approach at the micro levels is helping with this however still find myself a little tilting in bad runs when play 8 or 10 sng's and wind up not cashing any.
I simply love the feel of the chips to play with and especially when playing with regular people you kinda be comfortable like a family, so i guess the social aspect of playing in a pub with regulars is something I enjoy.
Both live and online have their benefits and drawbacks depending on the reason to be playing poker, grind for profit probably good to adapt a multi table approach online (if can do so profitably) unless you got a br to play big limits in a live cash game. Live is a great social outing when with a group of regulars, both are very different yet very much the same experience (each to be played for profit of course is the key to any type of gamble).
Just my thoughts, oh how I miss a live game (been about four months or more since having held a poker chip, haha withdrawel).
