Ever since the seizure of funds, has anyone stopped playing online?

Just wondering really. I pulled all my cash from my online account.. I'm a bit worried about the recent seizings. Anyone else slow down or quit? lol, and sure some of you have never even heard of the seizures before this. If not you may want to look into it -40million in cash was pulled by the feds. Can search google news for it. Just wondering, really. Your input would be valued.

Yeah most ppl have heard of this an all the news on the subject that i have heard ,the poker sites ate the money. There not after you there tring to put the presure on the sites. An if they keep losing millons of dollars it might work, note party poker an alot just quit letting US players play on there sites because they were worried about this.

P.S. I think there already was a thread about this subect on CC

That's why I only play at the big two, FTP and Stars. No worries about them going belly-up any time soon.

HHEELL NNNOOOO I haven't stopped, and I never will. Even though I haven't deposited anything lately ( no bankroll to save with kid due soon) What the gov. tried to do is complete bullshit and will be considered unconstitutional if ever really challenged in court. So F_CK them, I'm playing lol

Haven't even worried about it. I've got next to nothing on my account. However, should my bankroll get real big I will withdraw some. (Pipe dreams.):)

e-check

Yes before I heard about the freezing of the accounts,,, I tried to make a deposit at PS and of course the e-check wouldn't go through. It does worry me that our Goverment keeps getting involed in our Rights of choice to how I choose to spend or invest my money.
Take care

Is this something in America? Would somebody in canada be more safe from such a thing happening?

This hasn't stopped me from playing, but I don't deposit anyway all of my BRs were created from freerolls. I believe it was payment processors accounts which were frozen, not actual poker site accounts. These were frozen because of the poker sites the payment processors were connected to. Im sure a bunch of the money that was frozen wasn't even related to poker, but would guess the majority was.

It mainly only affects US players, but if your site has funds in American institutions it can affect anyone. Hopefully they will take this matter seriously in Congress, but Im pretty sure they aren't even touching it before they take their "vacation".

Support the PPA, no matter where you are from. I don't care if you don't think anything can come from it, doing nothing will never get anything done at all.
