re: Poker & Ever burn out on poker?
If I were playing for fun, then I would not play very often. I play purely for profit, and if I have no profit I have no fun. I have played for 4 years straight years with only occasional days off. I play as many tables and events as possible at one time. Multi screens, etc. I can count the weeks that I lost money on my hands and toes (never big losses either). I play at somewhat lower levels so it is impossible to lose my stake. I need to spend all my winnings unfortunately.
I will admit that there have been a few times that I have said that I want to sit down and play "a nice relaxing game of poker". But not many. Sorry, probably not too encouraging.....but true.
