Hey guys, I'm confused in a way. Playing a MTT at 888, I just went all in with 500 chips, the other guy had 248.

We both had Full House Aces Over Kings, but for some reason I only ended up with 220?

edit: He ended up with chips put in by another player just before the river, but I seemed to lose chips, I'm confused as to why when we both had the same hand.

Is this a mistake?

Also, I was beaten by a pair of jacks on the board when I had a pair of Queens, I'm very worried about this!

Please note that I am NOT reading it wrong because I double checked it afterwards.....

Hmm.

I don't have the hand histories, I'm not a fool though, I don't think. I wouldn't just make it up!

I just think its, odd.

Without hand histories no one can evaluate if there was an error. My first assumption is that you misread the situation.

Ok, so how come it displayed my hand (on 888) as: "Full house, aces over kings", and yet when the hand was over, someone else won more than me with the exact same hand?

I know because I read it in the dealer messages, it's pretty hard to mistake something like that.

I know what you're saying, but I also know what happened on the board!

I'm wondering if anyone who's had something similar happen can testify to this?

It's pretty much impossible to say what happened without a hand history to look at.

I would be beyond shocked if a site managed to get a basic split pot / who won the hand situation wrong though. It's a black and white situation, computers don't make one-off errors with that stuff...

Probably not, and if they did they would have the hand history or screen shots to post or send to support.

Ask support for all your hand histories for that particular tournament and we'll take it from there

FWIW, it sounds like you've either won or chopped the side pot, but then the other player won the main pot.

Were you playing Omaha, by any chance? Or NLHE? Do you remember what cards you were holding, what cards villain had and what was on the board?

This is exactly what I was thinking, that it sounds like this is an O8 tournament.
It also looks like you are getting upset at the people here because of the exclamation points when they are just trying to help out. They just need more information to do so. We also need more information for the hand with the jacks. Best way to help you is to get the HHs.

I would check hand history. You never know what's going on until you dominate all possibilities.

I don't have 888 and I can be wrong, but shouldn't it say Aces full of Kings ?
Doesn't Aces over Kings means two pair, Aces and Kings ?

It sounds like a mistake but you have have misread the hand. Something similar happened to me a few weeks ago.
I lost a MTT because of this river: AAAA5, the other player goes all in with KK and I call with QQ, can someone tell me why all the chips were for him and were not for both?

Best 5 card hand. You had AAAAQ, he had AAAAK.
