Well Erik Seidel is within reach of another WPT title.....yes its a small field for such an event coming in at just 97 players, but its still a 10K buyin, and it would add another notch for Erik in what has been a nice year for him so far at the tables. Final table is set and begins tomorrow. Should be fun!

y, do you have tickets for the event? Mike and I looked at doing so but we couldn't make the 3PM start time jibe with our schedules. I wonder whether any other CCers, from near or far, will be there to watch.

Also, has anyone heard when this will be televised?

They should just give him Player of the Year right now and be done with it.

Yes they are getting smaller, but to be fair, this was only the second year for this one, and the field was about 40 people less so hopefully next year will be better.. Also Erik ended up finishing second so I hope I didnt jinx him..:D

I guess the fact that the NAPT was held simultaneously over at Mohegan Sun and I believe that a Heartland Poker Tour event was happening as well.

So does anyone know who won yet? Just did a search and can't find any results.

Mike Scarborough defeated him heads up JTs > A9s AIPF. Last six ran Eli Eslami, Andy Whetstone, Tom Marchese, William Reynolds, Seidel and Scarborough.

Seidel has just been running sick the past year and a half. Sad to see him come in second, but hey that's better than a lot of players have done alone in the past year. He is really showing that players from the old guard can still compete with the new hotshots in the game!
