I know, it has been a year since the last wsop, and Eric Molina and his open door straight draw. But I wanted to bring him up. I know he is a little young punk, but I felt his play was fair enough that we would end up seeing more of him this last year. He was loud enough to make a scene, and while he is a punk, unlike Umburto he doesn't bother me. I just wanted to see him get to play Jamie Gold again. That battle was great. Any one else think you would end up seeing him in the pro circut, or do you all just think he is a punk bitch.

I'm crossing my fingers that he never gets any more TV time, but since I haven't heard a single thing about him since '06 I think that is a pretty safe bet.

He was a flash in the pan last year; needs to clean up his game, and his mouth.

OK. I agree that he was a punk on that episode last year. But did anyone see the next episode? He was almost a total gentleman. Maybe it was because his parents were there.

I've seen both episodes 3 times now and it actually seems like he was drunk in the first one and hungover the second. In the first, he was drinking something and slurring a bit, but not in the second. Maybe the alcohol brought out his true personality or maybe he was just out of control.

Yeah, that's exactly the problem. He acts like a total rebel, but just wound up making an ass of himself.

I think you are right. I think the drink had much to do with it, and I think that maybe because he kept getting kicked out of the game for time out because of his mouth, his parents just told him not to talk to anyone, that way he wont say the fword.

I would have took pleasure in whupping his little ass after the tournament if he wanted to act live in front of his old man.

I don't really have a problem with his style, but I think that was a stupid play he made when he got busted. If I recall it was a 3 club flop, he has no clubs, why would you CALL an all in on a straigh draw with no outs to the flush when your not even sure if your opponent has a club, a club couldve peeled off if his opponent had one and made his straight a moot point.

Its one thing to reraise all in on that type of flop, but to CALL an all in, I just think thats stupid in that case.

How can you not like humberto tho??!!

yeah, i think it's been confirmed that he was drunk in the episodes before his parents showed up to watch. still, i'm pretty sure he's a punk regardless. nice people are usually nice drunks, and vice versa. and it's not like he was completely wasted, either. i don't know if him quieting down had more to do with his sobriety or his parents being there (although that probably caused his sobriety).

"DOUBLE ME PLEASEEEEE!!"[/quote]

Because he anoys me. The guy is so loud. Standing up, throwing his arms in the air. Ohhhhhhhh HUMBERTO!!!!! Oh the shark, let me just fly the shark around the room and play for the camera, and get cheap chears from the audence, and boo other oponents. How about you STFU and play some cards. I mean Eric was loud and obnoxious, but he was obnoxious about the cards, he never slowed the game up. And while he is a little brat, when he flicked his all in chip, he wanted it to land infront of Jamie, as if to say, this bet is for you. It was an acident that the chip bounced and landed on Jamie's hand. Because Jamie knew that he got caught, and he couldn't call the all in, he acted like a baby and literaly threw the chip at Eric. And Jamie Pouted. Eric said the Fword and Jamie took his chance to be a bigger baby and complain about the foul untill he was given five minuets on the rail. Yeah that is a true champion. And back to Humberto. I change the channel when he is on. Most annoying poker player (to me) ever.

Seriously, how can you not HATE Brenes? One of the poker magazines recently used their opening editorial to point out that he is acting like an eleven year old kid who is off his meds, and that every other pro in the building was rooting against his and his idiot antics in the Heads Up Championships. I couldn't agree more.

I always like a player with class so also think Molina is nothing special.

Off topic, but Emperor IX that Antonius/Doyle sig is superb. I also loved that clip where Doyle wins the pot and the verbal sparring!

So you wouldn't mind if a guy kept yelling in your face while playing against you if he was having fun doing it?

man, I'd rather have him (Brenes)at my table to lighten up the atmosphere while grinding for the long times, then having a table full of stone face stares. Yeah how can you blame a guy for having fun and enjoying the game like he wants too.

So you wouldn't mind if a guy kept yelling in your face while playing against you if he was having fun doing it?
Its not like its non-stop in your face to a particular person. He damn sure don't talk more than Matusow and even if it was non-stop in your face to one person its as simple as calling the tournament director in on the situation. But its not, and Just like he's pushing your buttons, you can find ways to push his buttons too, its always ways to get under someone's skin that pisses you off.

and who cares what the other pros think, they don't cut his check

lol, let him live, at least he aint trash talkin, either way your gonna have a problem at the table if you uget annoyed by humberto cus a trash talker like matusow is much worse.

LMAO @ STFU and play some cards eyetrace -- that would be hilarious if someone said that to him.

Not only that, but imagine him poking you in the arm several times while you make a decision (He even did that at the Heads up tourney. Ridiculous)

And ty SurreyMonkey :)
