I think not! Actually, being you both prefer razz, it's probably more critical to take notes, as you're more likely to run into the same people at the same levels - unlike NLHE.

This is true, but a lot of the notes I take aren't specific details just a color code that identifies a player's style. Unless someone is playing in a very unusual way for them (on tilt, drunk, just learning) I can usually nail their style within 20 hands and play appropriately vs. them.
