Just a little heads up on E-Passporte for the membership here. I went to deposit money on my account and the deposit was supposed to be available at 5:30 pm pst on Wed. the 14th. When the money didn't clear 2 hrs and 30 min after it was supposed to I called customer support and waited on hold for over 20 minutes(long distance because they have no 1-800 toll free number) only to be told that they could not help me but that if the money didn't become available tomorrow to call back and they would "open a trouble ticket".

One day the UIGEA will be repealed and when that happens e-passporte will probably lose every poker player they currently have.

Yep. Horrible. I tried to open an account, thinking it would be similar to neteller, only to wait over a month for the me to transfer the few pennies to my bank account needed to verify it. After that fiasco, I figured if they can't sent a few cents in a timely manner, why would I trust them w any real amount of money. Also, their fees were unbelievably high. I have heard recently that they have gotten better (?) on all these fronts, but don't really care to investigate further, as the initial horrible interaction was enough for me...

In the process of using them to transfer some money now. Epassporte to full tilt poker and Stars. It took about a week for the verification deposits. It has taken almost a week for my deposit from bank to Ep to go through. Tomorrow it is _supposed to be available by 5:30pm, we shall see. I think they charged me $5 for $200 but not sure.

I had no problems, besides the long wait time for the bank account as mentioned. I sent them an email complaint and got a response in 2 days. They charged me $5 to put on $100 and as that's now around $400 hopefully I won't have to deposit again :). But agreed about repealing that stupid law.

My transaction through epassporte has completed with no problems as scheduled. I must say the time to complete a first transaction really blows but they did come through with no problems. I can understand the wait as chargebacks nearly killed off paypal in the begining.

That really sucks.

For me (I used checking / credit card) I opened another account there and within only 10 minutes after registering / adding card / adding money/ etc. I already had my money on FullTilt :\

Their one saving grace has been, once my account was finally set up, transferring money site to site works well. I only ever use them for that purpose; if it weren't for that, I would have no use for their service at all.

Like many of the e-wallets, I suspect they were unprepared for the volume that UIGEA flooded them with, and have never really caught up.

Interestingly, some poker sites, notably bodog, nolonger accept ePassporte deposits. I have wondered what up wif dat.
