Live poker in a nutshell....
- Play tight, and straight-forward for the most part.
- Don't bluff in multi-way pots.
- Don't slowplay big hands.
- Take position seriously
- Read about strategy before you go, such as: set-mining, SCs, preflop play, postflop, etc.
Live players are pretty bad. Identify how people play and their styles as soon as possible when you sit down.
And be patient. Have the control to wait for good hands. Don't play bingo and gamble like the rest of them.
And finally, these are just tips from me to you. There isn't really "cookie cutter" advice that applies to all situations. Every time you play poker, there are dynamics involved.
These are just some general tips that I thought of. Take my contributions with a grain of salt....
And lastly, GL to you.
