Did you read it? Do you agree with it? The draw plays have me scrathing my head what do think? I tried a couple of his plays and they worked ok but its to soon to tell. I liked the book even though a book will not give you enough info to be a good player it seems you cant learn feel from a book?

Did you read it?

Yes, if you check out the link in post #3 you'll find that many other members have also read the book. :)

Do you agree with it?

From a business perspective it makes total sense (referring to the book overall).

The draw plays have me scrathing my head what do think? I tried a couple of his plays and they worked ok but its to soon to tell.

I have yet to try any of the specific strategies (unless I was already using them previously) since I'm working on learning &/or improving my game one poker concept @ a time (so that certain things develop into a habit -- something recommended in Dusty's book).

That's good that you've tried some of his suggestions & they're working out okay thus far.

I liked the book even though a book will not give you enough info to be a good player it seems you cant learn feel from a book?

As with most books, reading info & applying the info are 2 different things...application is key, esp when it comes to poker.

If you have specific ???s about the strategies, check out Dusty's thread & see if he may have already answered the ??? for another member; if not, post your ??? there & get a response directly form the author. GL.

And then your sig says:

Ukaliks is benefiting from a challenging form of entertainment for which other rational adults are willing to pay.

My question is about your sig as well as your comment.

I am assuming the game you like is called "piracy"?

I dunno, at the Breachway Marketplace on Mesquamicut Beach in CT they make this thing called a super grinder. Its amazing 7 types of meat on a roll that looks like 3 subway rolls in girth and about 1.5 in length. Stuffed.
