The sad thing about Norm Chad's horrible jokes is that they are actually scripted. The
wsop commentary is taped weeks after the events, when the video has been edited down to an hour's worth of highlights. You'd think whoever writes this stuff could come up with better material.
By the way, the "other guy" on the WPT telecasts is Mike Sexton, who's no slouch at the table in his own right.
You'll learn more about poker fundamentals from listening to Phil Gordon on "Celebrity Poker Showdown" than just about anyone out there. Although the poker itself on that show is pretty bad.
Mike Sexton on WPT is excellent for more in-depth analysis, particularly regarding tourney-style play. The Van Patten kid is just there for pretty-boy fluff.
Everyone else I've watched is just another babbling head.
