I love him.

His daughter talks about the feral cats in facebook all the time. I offered to pay the vet bill on Monday when she took the kitty in - in return for an interview with her dad. But she said he does not like to do interviews and she knew she would not be able to talk him into it.

wow, that interview would have been amazing dakota. unlucky

After all he's done for the poker world, they should automatically be giving him a free ME seat every year. Just the increased publicity alone more than makes up for the nominal cost.

Everybody likes him. He has huge experience, amazing reads. And he still can beat the young agressive players.

"May the flop be with you" Haha very clever. Many poker players inspire me to play from Mike Matusow to Kid Poker but Doyle really inspires me. Enduring the spike of time and the spike in increased skill in poker players over the years and to continue to grow in every way. Hopefully ill become this adaptive an skillful over the years. Ive got a lot to learn. Thanks for the good read. I really enjoyed it.

Durr would make that same bet if he had a full house. He has gotten paid off on hands before because of his table image, but of course he gets caught sometimes too.

doyle brunson is legend i agree , loved his book super system great read, lot of detail

what a guy Doyle is, such an amazing humble guy it seems, and a great human being and family man. May you be around for years to come young man!

That was a pleasant blog to read. I follow him on facebook, but I haven't been taking the time to pay any attention to the stuff that he puts down...Here's an example-

"Locked both sets of keys in my new van. Called AAA and they said 1 hour. Fine but there is 4 quarts of ice cream in the back seat:-("

Here's another good example-

Nice to see the old geezer at least come back occassionally to play the BIG tourneys. Seems like the nice old grandfatherly type...

I think it's great to come back and use more technology to explain how to act in certain situations!
My understanding is the best poker player of all time!
