Don't you hate it when you open a freeroll and get ready to register for the tourney and forget about it because you are talking on facebook. I just did that. Guess I'll just have to wait til tomorrow to play it.

Lol, done it too many times! Responding to email, playing hearts, maybe even playing poker, while waiting for registration. Next thing you know you click over and the tourney is full, or registration closed on the game you've been looking forward to all week! It would be nice if you could sign up to be alarmed a few minutes in advance of selected freerolls.

Set a timer, that's what I always do and it never fails.

I use my phone.

I usually leave the registration open in the backround... then I see it enough to always have it at least in the back of my mind.

Setting a timer always works well too!!

I hate it more when I go deep into a MTT and fall asleep.

That's usually not a freeroll .

Or when I miss a CC game I have been looking forward to playing for weeks.

Lol, this literally just happened to me. It's so frustrating, because you open FullTilt and are ready to register, and then just happen to log on to the internet and just miss the few seconds that the registration starts. The freerolls fill up so fast, it's pretty ridiculous. Just wait for the next one!

Yeah this is what I usually do. I don't leave the register button visable, just the list of players, that way when it opens up and there is movement my eyes focus on the movement in the screen and I jump in and register.

I have missed the $1m quarterly free rolls on Stars for the supernovas and it really feels like you saw a lot of money on the ground and forgot to pick it up for some reason lol

I usually set the alarm on my phone for a few minutes before the freeroll starts. If it's not a freeroll but a buy in tourney then I'm usually in position ready to get my ass kicked anyway so i don't need the alarm call! I found the hour changing in USA a week or two before the UK completely threw me as my usual freerolls were an hour earlier than normal and I kept missing them!

Yeah I have to set a timer, always sit there with 2 mins to go and then get sidetracked somehow...

what's funny, my biggest cash ever online came from Absolute poker and I fell asleep with like 120 players left in the $3 rebuy and woke up with 24 players left and I was in 20th place and ended up winning it for over 2 grand, it was nice.
