I hate it when there's a maniac at my table handing coins to others but I can't make one cent off him.

There was this dude two seats to my left. (6 handed) In the beginning I had a couple of decent hands (A 10 and AJ). He called my raises preflop and then when I hit complete air I had to fold to his big bets. As it was the first few hands I had no read on him.

Then I realized the guy was a complete maniac who would bet and raise with absolutely anything and then would call people luckboxes. But I went card dead and couldn't take advantage.

Then FINALLY I got AK suited on BB after 30 something hands. The problem though? The hand right before he lost all his money after reloading no less than 3 times.

Then two hands after that, I hit a set...

Talk about an opportunity missed. I still ended up in the positive in the table, but could have made so much more if I could have made some hands while he was there.

YUP!

That's one of my little irks too. But I find that when I can resist the temptation to fire back at the lagtard, I usually have enuf patience to do well in a tourney.

Sometimes tho, I'm the one gets to knock him out.:D

I dunno... when I mess with donks I usually get burned. The amount of bad beats I've been getting lately is just nasty.

It's always fun to play against loose aggressive players to take advantage. But, getting the cards is more than half the battle.

On a table with another 2 of them now, but again can't hit anything. It's just frustrating to see this dude shove with bottom pairs and giving money away and meanwhile I can't even call a preflop raise.

i have played vs these kind on players many times, and i got burned many times when he shoved bottom pair vs my tptk and i lost, or simply by me calling his raises preflop with decent cards and having to fold when i don't hit time and time again.

but i also did double up a lot when i was fortuned enough to hit my hands.

Sweet! Took less than 10 hands and I won $4 from the same guy. $4 is pretty good at the lowest stakes hehe.

It helps that I tried to bluff the hand before and folded to a big river bet from another villain. Everyone (3 handed, I was on BB) had limped and checked the flop. So when a second 3 came on the turn, from BB I tried to represent a 3. 9h comes on the river and I had to toss since I had air.

The very next hand, the cards were almost the same.I had K3 on SB. Limped 3 way pot again. A 3 on the flop then another on the turn. I bet the exact amount on the turn. Two calls. The 9h hits on the river again. I lead out with half the pot. One fold, but BTN comes over the top and shoves.

I thought maybe he had 99... but since he limped from button I called. He only had one 9 and called the turn bet with air.

He reloads for a $1 and shoves preflop the next hand. With JJ on button I called. He only had 10 5. Got a scare when a 10 hit on the flop but A and K on turn and river means I win. Thinking back I probably should have pushed all in to squeeze the others out. Luckily it didn't cost me.

Sitting two seats to the left of this dude who has yet to lay down a hand preflop. I got AQ once and AK twice. Raised his limp big. He called both times (53 and A3). He outflopped me both times. Shake head. Then him and this other guy both hit a river flush on me. Not getting off to a good start for sure.
