I was sweating a friend at the live $100/200, and was shocked at how many hands went like this:

EP raises, LP 3-bets, EP 4-bets, LP calls.
(FLOP)
Bet, raise, call.
(TURN)
Check, bet, raise, 3-bet, 4-bet, call.
(RIVER)
Check, check.

"K-high."
"Good, nice hand."

Soooooo sick!

Buy the book, read the book, learn the book... then throw it away!

FLOP x,x,x
TURN x,x,x
RIVER x,x,x

oh... and the next hand:

FLOP x,x,x
TURN x,x,x
RIVER x,x,x

Would you like me to continue?

In other words, it didn't matter what the board looked like... they were going to fire w/ any piece, potential piece, or last wks. piece of pie their grandma made!

When I saw the title of this thread I was expecting to see something like "Don't ever put your fingers in the auto card shuffler":p

I think I know what he's getting at ... it's true, some of these 1000nl games are basically coinflips and wild plays. I've watched and tracked them ... I wanted to see how some of these top internet pros play and its just on some weird level that can't translate OR they are just having fun and dont care about that amount of money.
