Whenever I have a session where I get it in bad once or twice and suck out I always feel very uncomfortable. When this happens, I feel like I'm not actually playing well, and that I don't deserve the money in my stack. This actually ends up tilting me more than losing pots does.

Does anyone else experience this, and how do you deal with it?

Just remember all those times that someone else sucked out in you and you will get over it easily. Good luck!

Getting it in bad against your opponent's actual hand doesn't necessarily mean you played poorly at all. If you feel like you played incorrectly try reviewing the hand after the session.

Hiya ~ I guess you are the bloke I've been playing ~ Hehe

It seems to me that for everyone who gets sucked out on there is obviously the person doing the "sucking". (Makes sense to me). As has been mentioned if you do get it in bad or think you have played badly, whether you won or lost, I would try to review the hands/ session and try to learn for next time.

Whatever you do ~ however you play your hand, I would also remember one thing!! It is your money you start with and don't let anyone else tell you how to spend it!! Gl in the future and don't forget fold that 7 2 next time your playing me ~ Thanks :D:D:D

I wouldn't feel bad if luck was on my side in a hand for once :)

Like people have said, look over the hand and see if you could of played it better.

Last night's game when I had AA in the CC league, I had 500+ left behind so I shove on the flop which was all lower and vill called with KJs and he ended up with trips as the turn and river were both J's... I am getting used to people sucking out on me... I just say whatever now... Sighs  :D

I sort of agree with you, but I am def happy to have the $

I tend to get it in good far more than bad, so when I do get it in bad, I am sort of upset (if I played it REAL bad) But if I know I got a gut shot + flush draw and I get it in ... I am not upset when I put them on top 2 or a set, and I want to gamble.

Upset about getting lucky? I don't really understand that. Are you happy for the other guy when he sucks out on you?

I feel a bit guilty but I just try to remember that I really shouldn't play those hands and that I was just lucky, no skill there. If I hadn't sucked out it would have been a lesson too so just try to take t like it is. I really think occasionally that our hunches work due to our sub-conscious, but I try not to respond to these urges regularly.

I think sometimes I get the suckout on the river but it is because I am calling loudly at my computer screen, really loud LOL !! Usually only play crappy cards in the blinds and I do get lucky sometimes.......
