Sometimes I don't play poker to distract their thoughts, and then with fresh ideas and strategy begin to play again, poker this game is that it can cease to play for a long period of time and so the game is played forever)
Now and again you need a break from poker, too much of anything is a pain. When you get back playing you have a refreshed outlook on your play, maybe have new strategies to try out.
IUf I'm involved in a really long mtt, I can start to get bored after a few hours. I feel the need to just get up and walk away from the table for a few. It starts to get less boring as I approach the bubble.
This is the first time I get to play poker more often and trying to see it as a way to earn some money and not just for fun... I think that no one will ever get bored of poker while winning but personally I quit playing poker for months when I had a downswing..
Not bored, just sometime i have other stuff to do,so i pause with poker.
I have lot time to play in winter, but in summer it is another story,i play 2 game in week.
Of course I get bored all the time while playing poker. I'm usually just waiting for the next exciting play to happen and then I get amped up again lol. I prefer to play multiple tables while playing online that helps a little with being bored. You can also setup another monitor and watch tv or just listen to music.
Online for sure! Very easily but live game no way. If things slow down in a casino I find it fun to walk around and watch the crackheads rubbing and talking to the machines. Wayyyy better than watching funny cat videos waiting on quality hands....!!!
