Okay, after answering the survey (No- Too funky, I am a traditionalist), and reading all the posts, I started giving it more thought.

So, tonight I tried the 4 color deck. It is a bit strange, but I'm going to try it for awhile to see if I can get use to it. I think it will really help in telling the suits apart.

Thanks! I don't think I would have ever tried it had it not been for this survey.

Okay, after using the 4 color deck for quite a few games, I am finally getting use to it and I really think it does help with the spade/club problem.

Yes I do, it's very helpful when playing several tables at once..... Easier to see and identified the cards you're dealt....

4 color deck?

Yes, I wear glasses and it is sometimes hard to tell a spade from a club. Hearts and diamonds are easier but I like 4 color decks so I don't misread the suits. I wish casinos would use them too. If I am seated at the far end at the table it is harder to tell the suits apart without craning my neck and making it obvious I am looking to see if I flushed or not.

I use a four-color deck of cards, it’s much more convenient for me to follow the cards, my eyes don’t get so tired when you play.

I am colourblind and a traditionalist, so I am shape focused not colour attentive.

I think all sites offer this, do you use it?

I do every site, I think if you multi table you have to.
Your thoughts

I think it will suit everyone's taste. But I don't particularly like it. It gets visually tiring. For me, the less color the better for concentration.

Multi-color decks more clearly indicate what the cards are.

This allows you to more quickly determine what hand you have.

You should always use ALL the tools made available to you.

If you are not used to multi-color decks then you should try it until you are used to it.

Good luck !

My vision is not very good, even with glasses, visual exhaustion, too many hours on the PC worsen the situation.
I liked the coloring from the first time I used the 4-color deck.

I’m sure wherever I play, I set up a 4 color deck (for me it is very convenient)! I saw that offline sometimes they use the same one!

I tried to play a 4 x color deck; I didn’t like it, it’s not usual to see cards differently, now I only play the standard deck I’m used to.:stoned:

Yeah, I have been for a while now. It's easier not to misread my cards and it's simply just more pleasing on the eyes.

I never liked the 4-color decks myself. I play as much as 6 tables (though typically 4) and never have any trouble distinguishing flushes, but then again I have 3 monitors, all 24+ inches running 1920x1200 each, so I play with my tables at pretty much regular size. If I play more tables or less monitors and have to shrink my tables down, I might reconsider, but for now I prefer the traditional cards.

Sick brag on the monitors. :D

Its always a good idea to use the 4 colour deck while playing online. Most of the time your multi=tabling and this cuts down on confusion and mistakes. :joyman:

I agree - I two table Zoom/Snap cash comfortably, and agree that it helps me cut down on misreading the cards....mistakes??? TBD. LOL!!!

Yes, aesthetics are definitely important to me as well, when playing.

Absolutely!!!

I always use 4 colours. I wont play on a site that doesn't have that choice. it probably makes for more fish but I don't care. I will play whatever helps me.

4 Color deck helps a lot in that you cannot miss a flush opportunity,
A friend of mine once called a huge bet on the river and said I have made a flush only to be beat on the river because he had not made the nut flush he had mis-read his hand and thought he had KJ suited and they were K of hearts and J of diamonds
easy to do with only 2 colors
