I can't see any benefit except to try to induce TILT in my opponent(s). I think there is a slim chance in that happening in comparison to the info I'd be giving to the rest of the table it's not worth it. My auto-muck stays on.

Only time I show after bluffing is if they called my bluff. There is always something an opponent can learn by seeing your cards, which is why showdown is so important to observe. Don’t give someone a look for free.

I only if I think it is going to be to my advantage like to tilt a player, but it is very rare that it is to your advantage as you're allowing your opponents to match your cards with your body language

Showing a bluff can be a very good idea against weak / tilty players if You usually play very tight... Once You got away with one of your rare bluffs you show and then often times your opponent will pay off your next big hand...

I never show the cards! Poker is a game in which we try to read our rivals. Let the opponent try to read that I played a bluff or a strong hand.

I show when i have good hands. It makes me seem like a nit and will let bluffs become better.

It is sometimes necessary to do. And you enter opponents in a long reflection on your cards.

Once I was at a final table we were 6, my stack of chips was the lowest and I made a bluff to the chip leader with a 4-6 and showed him the cards then later the leader thought that he would make another bluff and what was not expected was that he had a trio and ended up benefited

I agree with never showing my hand.

I might show a bluff to tilt my opponent into making mistakes or show them how I own them and that can be a demoralizing factor especially at a final table.

One time UTG limped and that encouraged 7 limpers including the blinds. I looked down at QQ in the SB and open shoved 55 BBs and took down the pot and showed the ladies. I couldn't think of a number to isolate to two or three. I figure AK might call or a smaller pair.

If I play a hand like 72o and bluff them out of a pot then I will show just to tilt. I understand why everyone is saying don't show but I think as long as you remember the table image you are creating and adjust your play style accordingly there is nothing wrong with trying to tilt other players. Just don't be too surprised when you get called next hand!

It's important to be noticed and respected at the table. Quiet players might be construed as being conservative, where as an all in player coming over the top of raiser makes a statement. Whether a bluff, or a show of great cards, that ability is there to potentially give you a notice and a future tactical advantage. The amount of scenarios, player dynamics are so numerous it is a strategy employed when it serves a selfish purpose to you. :2in1:

Final table heads up is "nuclear" war, try it there, get in their heads, and F them up, because by that time you're both "road weary". I'd follow my own advice by that time I'm looking for the chop button only to fund out the site I'm on doesn't have one, lol, and I'm exhausted.

depends on the situation. if I want to seem like a nut player, then I do not show. If I want to morally disturb the balance of the opponent, then I show.

When someone shows me a bluff, in 10-20 hands he will be out of tournament, so never show your bluff

Showing after a bluff is excellent to put players on tilt. Also, you get more action when you do have a hand. Nothing wrong with a reveal.

No. Never. It's unnecessary and can look rude to other players.

Well, if it was rude to other players I'd do it all the time just to tilt them. Unfortunately, it's not, so I do it only when I want and can get in someone's head.
