I like tournaments better, but cash games can net a quick gain or loss

I prefer tournaments, because of not boring the dynamics and the inability to lose your entire bankroll

I like to play tournaments. Cash game for me dull and boring. If I play a long tournament at an early stage, I can simultaneously play the game zoom. Tournaments are filled with more excitement than cash games. I think this is not only because of the prospect of a lot to win. Changing the game itself on a course of blind growth. The closer the final table, the more expensive it becomes every mistake. And all this is fraught with emotion wins and losses. For myself, I have long chosen the path of a tournament player.

I prefer tournaments because you can "feel" the game change as you enter different stages. Cash games are for grind time.

Tournaments are my preference. I like the motion of the game, more fun reading opponents as there seems to be a lot more range of play amonst you opponents in tournaments. Lots of rocks in cash games, along with their alter ego major bluffers. I won't go into a cash game unless I buy in at 300x BB, to give myself a little room to play. But all in all would much rather play with good tournament players. I'd like to think that the better the players the better my performance.

I think its better to combine them: I love cash and love mtt. And only in MTT you can win a big pot.

hi

Hello.I prefer cash games due to many reasons.First of all you have the option of sit out.If you win a good pot you can leave table. At a mmt game you cant leave until you win .But at a tour....you start with the same chips. If you entry a cash game with 20 dollars someone may has more than you and play more cards.Any way play and love poker see you at tables !

The best short term profits are in the cash tables that leads to a better study of the game as there are stronger players instead the tournaments can follow a solid strategy and reach the prize without much effort but are 4 or 5 hours sitting In front of the computer

I prefer to play tournaments, cash games I was bored to play and I do not know when to withdraw.
If someone has a tip for cash game I'd be happy to listen to him.

I prefer tournaments because I'm bad at poker.

There just happens to be a lot more players who are worse than me in MTTs.

I prefer TOurnaments every day in the week. It's like day and night, i really cant understand how anyone can appreciate cashgames, the thrill in tournaments when u get to the finaltable and double up.

The nits gets there ass beaten, because the blinds go up, in cashgames the nits just wait and wait and beat you with higher set... and u are down and need to grind up again, at that point i tend to tilt. In a tournament i get just as mad but i am out and there is not much i can do about it.

If poker was only cashgames i would be out of it. I can win a tournament and be 100dollar up in a day, but at 10NL (my level at CG) i get like 10dollars in the best of days.

Tournaments or Cashgames and why? (u cashgames guys have to explain extra hard why you prefer cashgames before tournaments:D )

I go through phases myself. Cash games can be very streaky sometimes. Especially if you play PLO at all. But if you hit the big one in a tourney....you're set

I really like both, but in the moment i prefer to play tounaments cause I'm new to poker and i need some experience, so, some freerolls and stuff are nice to get it, but I pretend to play cash games after I feel pretty confident of my game.
