Tournaments

I like tournaments best. It is difficult to find a decent tournament these days.

pokerstars has a good choice, but being USA, I can't play on that site.

Tournaments can all look the same: players get the same number of chips, sit at tables with 9 or 10 people in total and leave the tournament as soon as they lose their entire stack. But in reality, live events and online rooms have many other structures and tournament models that define how to play. Strictly speaking, the structure also suggests the pace of play, since a tournament with rapidly rising bets encourages aggressive play, as the next level of betting will leave the player with fewer chips. I like the tournaments.

For some backwards reason I dig cash games more. More intense. Instant gratification. Although I have made most of my big money from winning quite large 6-hour tournaments. It's just hard to invest 6 hours sometimes. Especially when you invest 5 play a perfect tourney and then take 1 big bad beat right before the money that can ruin a week of poker for me.

I like to play tournaments, because they have a competitive part. Cash game tedious and boring for me

tournaments only

I do play tournaments only.
You can win real nice cash with a small investment, usually i do play in satelites to the tournaments and then in the tournament itself.
I do prefer knockout tournaments. Even if i don't make it to the final table i can still win some cash.

Prefer tournaments. I find it easier to play them. Here I am feeling calmer. I do not like the cache tables.

I would much rather play a tournament. I feel it takes more skill to play a MTT. You need to be able to adapt to many different styles of play, keep track of your chip count, study other players for tells, in general you need to stay sharp and pay attention all the time to stay on top. And in the end I find a MTT to be a more pleasant experience.:D:D

I prefer to play tournaments zashtoto fun touch is much greater than cash game tournaments constantly playing sreshtu different people :)

Your English is like Stoichkov's :D. Zashtoto = because and Sreshtu = against.

On topic: Cash games because in tournaments is full of donks cracking your AA with 72o or A3o. And there is no turning back.

I prefer the flexibility of a cash game over tournaments. Although there is nothing like winning a tournament it just eats up so much time when you run deep.

Tournaments offer evevything you want in poker,,,you can take little breaks (some people are very slow players, plus bad connections offer little breaks too) and they offer big payouts for little buy-ins:deal:

i prefer cash when Im winning, but that hasnt been the case lately... 2014 i was crushing live cash, most days making over 100$/hr or more... then 2016 hit... jan i was up 1800... then it was like hell froze over because ive been cold ever since... ive had a few big cashes, but over all id say im break even or maybe a bit down, which i hate! i mean, imm in a new area playing new ppl, but i just cant seem to catch a break, these ppl here will call down with literally any two cards, one guy plays 10-3 os any time he has it and it drive me and most others NUTS when he hits, and he seems to hit often... long story alrdy long, i prefer cash, but am working hard to refine my tourney skills in the hopes of getting int bigger games! good luck to you all

I prefer tournaments with no rebuys or add ons versus cash tables. It gives everyone an equal playing field and you can't get bullied out of hands you would normally want to see to the river. In tourneys, people have to be more considerate of the chips they have cause they can't just add more. In a cash game against someone with a huge bankroll can push you out of a hand that you have tons of outs or a good pair.

For me the best are the multi table tournaments because there you can put your intuition more in practice

I get far better reads in cash games then tournaments. So often I feel forced to play a hand when I only have 10 big blinds left and I flop the nut flush draw, So often I lose :/

I'm still in training so tournament is the best option, I can play a lot of hands much bigger and with less money in game .of course is necessary more time and a small return playing in micros and freerolls

I've tried and tried to play cash games and just can't seem to make it work. I'm old and sometimes don't have the energy to play a long tournament.
