I prefer to play in multi-table tournaments. This is due to my ambitions about poker. I believe that the multi-table tournaments is much more interesting than cash games in addition to MTT, you can become famous all over the world

Generally I prefer MTT, and sometimes when I play quite a bit (Minutes
10) and does not have a risk for me in the dispersion games with hyper turbo speed

Most of the time I play at money tables, but it is more due the availability of time. Obviously if you are a featured player it is best that you note the tournaments. At any moment you can get a fairly generous sum.

I like to be able to quit a game if conditions are sub-optimal. And cash games tend to be a lot fishier too.

Cash games are where I build my personal bankroll up. Tournaments are all about winning for me because I'm not concerned with just placing and making the cash. If tournaments were my main source of income from poker then I would have to play differently in tournaments. Be able to succeed in cash games is important in order to maintain a proper bankroll and really be able to go after tournament victories.

I'm learning that if your cash game is legit it carries over into sng/tourney play and especially tight spots and heads up.

Cash games are way faster than tournaments and people that play cash games are usually easily bluffed compared to tourny players!

I like tournaments formats but end up playing mostly cash games because I only have 1-3 hours to play and with cash games I can get in and out.
When I have more time I like to play tourneys

I much prefer tourneys vs. cash in most situations, but days I don't have the time for a tourney, cash games are the only way to go to get my fix!

I can win how many I will want not to sit, for short term, behind a game of 10 hours!

It's not you can win more , it's you can win faster than you do with tournaments because tournaments take alot of time .. tournaments have a wide prize pool but cash games are just the blinds and how much you win from calling/raising

I like the zoom cash games , to open one , rarily two tables , and play there . Fold all the hands I don't like , move to the next hand , quick action , everything happens on a rush , I like this . Half stack for aggressive play , fast rake . The tournaments need more patience and talent imo .

В кеш играх ты можешь проиграть большую сумму за короткий срок. А вот в турнирах такого не произойдет, если конечно относишься к игре серьезно. И плюс к этому можно выиграть солидную сумму, что по кеш играм такого не скажешь.

All games are individual! Excellent if you like one game, but in tournaments you can see different players and their game styles!

It depends sometimes you may like tournaments more because there is a bigger potential of a higher prize pool it may take along time but you will win alot if you be patient and analyze the players you are playing with !

Tournaments or Cash?

"This is my rifle, this is my gun. This one's for fighting, this one's for fun"-Full Metal Jacket

This is my rifle(cash game), this is my gun(tournament). This one's for fighting, this ones for fun.

Cash games make you money, tournaments make you happy.

SNG

Personally, I chose the cash games, because it's easier to win a few times and go. And in the event you need to sit for a long time and did not win.

Sit and Go (Sit N Go) Tournaments. The best of both worlds.

I prefer tournaments, probably because when I started to play poker, I started with tournaments and SNGs. And I somehow stick with it. Ofcourse I tried cashgame on micro stakes, I was able to be winning there, but I dont know. I didnt enjoy it that much as tournaments and I felt more pressure. But If I would decide to grind I would probably switch to cashgame. Because its more flexible and variance is lower I believe.

I like Mtt's more than ring games. When I started playing it was only in freeroll tournaments so 95% of my studying went into mtt's so became very natural for me.

What do you play more: games or cash games?

What do you play more: tournaments or cash games?
I think that practice is good for playing tournaments, that's why I play more tournaments, they stimulate my cash game, and help not to make stupid mistakes! And how are you???
