Do you prefer playing online or live poker?

I had my first experience in live play here near where I live really enjoyed the pure adrenaline live game plan to play sometimes.

Play only online. But want to play live tornaments.

I prefer to play online poker, because you do not need to go anywhere. You can just open your laptop and play when you have free time.

I have found I play with a lot more patience and better live. I have yet to really master reading peoples "tells" but something about being invested with my time and energy to be in an actual chair makes me play the way I know how to. I get too aggressive on online cash games as do most of the people I seem to come up against. Live poker for me!

live poker of course better. But in our country casino is allowed only in one city, and get out there to play a big luxury. But you can always play with a company of friends.

Live cash is the nuts .tourneys suck tho. Online tourneys in pjs and chillin

I usually have a lot of work, so I have 2-3 hours a day to play poker online.

online for comfort. the play is softer live in most places i assume.

Live definitely . It's just much easier and more convenient to play online . Nearest club or casino is an hour away

I play online poker. But I think it's also interesting to play live.

I have been better playing online tournaments than live, but the experience you have in live tournaments is great

online, just have way more time at home in front of the pc

I prefer online poker. I also have the opportunity to play live, but I have very little experience, so I try to improve my skills playing online.

I prefer to play online...no dealing with antes and such...plus people cannot read my face or other tells...also I can sit in my comfortable chair in my underwear play

I like online and live but for different reasons. People can't see you online so you can wear anything you want. I like live because it's good to get out and be sociable. You can react to getting a good hand without giving a tell when you're at home too.

I prefer online since I can play small stakes tournaments - all the live tournaments in my area are more than my bankroll will allow for right now.

I like both! Playing online is easy, roll out of bed and you are at a game. Live is totally different for me. Get pocket Aces online no big deal. Get them in a live cash game the heart starts beating a little faster! When I don't play live for awhile and go back I am very nervous for the first hour or so till I get back in the groove and calm down. I live in PA and legal online poker is coming soon so I imagine I will play a lot more online and just do the special events at the casino.

Live is by far better. I don’t treat online as serious anymore. I’d like to play more different poker styles live other than hold em

I like them both but if I'm playing for big money I would rather play live.

Online and "living"poker are so different.
One of the major differences in reagrds to playing is that the all-in option is taken a lot less often than it is when playing online, with just a simple click (often regretted).

Playing with living people face to face at a table is so much more than online poker, although online is convenient.

I play poker every day for 4-6 hours a day, but only online. Unfortunately, I do not have the ability to play live.

I like live poker for the adrenaline and the experience.

Online games are easier to handle, as I play s&g's and love that a lot.
