In the beginning of play sometimes, but once I'm adjusted to everyone's play and start to feel comfortable, the nervousness goes away. Staying positive and good vibes have a big factor.
Nervs helps or destroy you're game in poker, it depends how you can control it. I pretty often got my nervs tensed up, especially if its an important torney and I dont get any good hands to increase stack, but everything is settled down once my amount of chips doubles at least
On the contrary I never feel nervous playing online. However, when I get deep into a live tourney and get close to the bubble, due to the amount of hours put into the tourney a lot has been invested time wise and thats when i get most nervous
I may feel a little bit of nerves deep into a big pot in an online cash game, however if I feel like a have a good read they will go away. I am still a year away from getting to play in a casino but I know I will have lots of nerves the first few times I play live
For me, nerves and excitement are the same things. Giving that, the nerves keep me focused on the game. It's that feeling that keeps me going in long tournaments.
I am trying to compare it to something that u would easily understand, but i cant find a nonviolent example so here goes, u become less nervous when u had your fair share of bad beats and suckouts, after that u would feel lot less stressful when u get dealt another one, its like hitting a wall with your fist, its hurts like hell at first, but with time it gets a lot less painfull, trust me i have tried it
The later the stage the more nervous I am. Especially when there are really difficult hands or if I am all-in. The hardest part is just before the bubble... ;-)
WHEN i am playing i got nervous with bad hands, then i am trying to concentrate on playing....waiting for a good hand..and then go ahead....to win ........
Earlier ever had much tilt will break everything, but now after a few books and studies just reading articles that helped me in this part and now I can control myself well with these situations.
Sometimes this desire happens, but rarely. Most of all I do not like fish. Because they always happen trouble. Basically, I always understand that in the future play a good hand and a chance to win more. Then I take myself in hand and hope for success in the future
I try to keep calm. Honestly the online walk through nervous about the bad plays that win hands. But it's the huge fault current variance than the lousy players. Live is easier to stay calm than on line I believe.

When I was younger and earlier in my playing career, absolutely I would get nervous. Even playing online. Not anymore though. It's been years since I've felt nervous while playing or about playing.
nerves are somthing all players deal with less so the more you play, but evenafter you dont have them at levels like 1-2 to 5-10 but when you play 300-600 those nerves come back until you have played at this level for quite some time, but good luck and just keep playing and eventually you will learn to control these emotions
