9 handed cash...when my A-Game is there...yup...most shark-like.
6 handed cash...i am the table fish....totally...served with chips at your pleasure.
amazing the difference...6 handed just doesn't suit my playing style.
I do reasonably ok in tourneys...but i wouldnt say a shark...maybe a dolphin
its all relative to where you play. I find in poker their are leagues of talent pool. if you end up on table where everyone is in a higher league then you then you are a fish in that game. If you play on a table where all players are in a lower skill league then you then you are a fish in that game.
you can move up in terms of league and move down.
I hesitate to call myself a shark even though I most of my income comes from poker now. Because I am aware there are plenty of players out there much better then me who would call me a fish.
However I grind games where I have an edge and constantly work to try to improve. In most of the games I play I am a shark. Its all relative is my point.
Good god no, I play for fun & the love of cards influenced by my grandad. Any card game us a good game & winning is a bonus.
Poker is my favourite game as you get to play the players too.
Possibly with more potential than an unexpecting observer may believe? Yes. Card shark? Not even close. What makes me a "good player" (if I even am that)? It is simple. My table selection ability of finding really soft games. If that makes me a shark then fine, but basically it is just humble realization that those other players at that table are better than me and I'll stay clear for now
I definitely would not say that I’m a poker shark, because I think if I was I would already have won a major tournament and I’m far from that. I don’t think I’m a bad player either, but I could study more to be better.
I am a modest player and I do not consider myself a shark. I think that a shark can be considered a player who receives his main income from poker. At the moment, I am just working on creating my bankroll.
Hello.
I do not consider myself a shark, although my bankroll is growing steadily. I consider myself a beginner who has understood the basics of the game and learned to enjoy the process.
Hell no!! My game is way too bipolar to ever be. I just hope my freestyle strategy is good enough to increase my bankroll consistently to make more money than my job.
